Middle Peak Quarry is now a disused quarry located in Wirksworth, Derbyshire, UK. It was originally a Lead quarry which then moved onto mining Limestone. It is a known and popular spot for people wanting to swim in the clear water lagoons. I wasn’t here to swim, but what fascinated me about Middle Peak Quarry was the huge array of textures and tones. Quarries really do make exciting locations to shoot in.
